Hello again!!
Today we’re going to take a look at the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Cartridge from Smokey Point. This was a fun cart to get through, and tasty as well! So follow along as we dive into what makes this tasty and high energy strain so great.
The Farm: Smokey Point has been a company since 2014 who has been putting out a range of products that hit every market for the consumer! From their flower, and carts, to their dabs, Smokey Point puts out quality products at a reasonable price point.
The Strain: Pineapple Upside Down Cake is a sativa dominant hybrid that is Cookie Monster crossed with Pineapple Train Wreck. This strain has a lot of citrus notes, while also bringing forth a floral, and sweet side. The taste and smell are both known to be unique and invigorating.
Packaging: The packaging for this cartridge is absolutely phenomenal! It gives you the perfect amount of information. It has the strain name at the very top, with the cross strains underneath it, on the side it says the name of the company in large print, it is also a Live Resin cart and says so right above where the cartridge is, and then on the back it tells you about the prominent terpenes. Currently for this strain we’ve got B-Ocimene, terpinolene and B-Caryophyllene.
Hardware: The cartridge hardware is something else. Not many other companies are doing what these guys are doing. They’re using a 100% quartz tanker, with an open style chamber, so that when taking a deep drag it almost feels like you’re taking a full-blown dab by the end. The cartridge hits smoothly, it doesn’t burn too hot, and it doesn’t really clog either. So for those who use vapes like I do, the lack of clogging was a major plus.
Flavor: The taste was just like the name said it would be! It was sweet, it tasted like pineapples, and it had a floral taste to it as well! It was a very pleasant yet not an overwhelmingly heavy flavor.
The high: The high was energetic, stimulating and focused. Throughout the entire high, my activities changed from one thing to another. But each time I changed, I was seemingly ripped, roared and ready to go at the drop of a hat. While my thoughts felt sporadic when I wasn’t at one true task, once I got to one, the mellow of the high kicked in and I was focused on whatever task was at hand, until I completed it.
I had a wonderful body high with this as well! With how much energy I had, and all of that moving I was doing, my limbs were feeling loose, my mood felt boosted, and I felt less sore! This is definitely a nice one for if you like to be outside for sure!
Overall: Overall, this is a great cartridge, inside and out; from the hardware, to the strain itself. Smokey Point has done a fantastic job with the way they have presented Pineapple Upside Down Cake. The next time that you’re in a shop and you’re able to snag one of these, do yourself a favor and make sure to do it because this is going to be one hell of a ride and you don’t want to miss it.
