Holy smokes! I can’t believe it’s that time of year already. Happy holidays, everyone! I hope you’re getting to spend time with your friends and family, while still doing what you can to take care of yourself. 

We here at HWY 420 decided to put together a little list of items that we think would pair well with a holiday movie night. Whether it’s on your own or with someone else, our budtenders have made some suggestions that will bring anyone some festive cheer!

Everyone here at HWY 420 brings something different to the team. We’re a little melting pot of personalities here, and that’s something that shows from this list! Whether you like kids’ movies, the classics, or even horror movies. This list has them all! So find your comfiest seat, grab some snacks, and maybe even a blanket. Because here are ten holiday movie suggestions that pair up with items from HWY 420.

• Alex (Silverdale): Movie – Die Hard – Pairing – Kelly’s Edible Cookie Dough – Reason – “These are great treats to have because you can bake the dough before watching the movie! You can enjoy them with a glass of milk if you bake them or even just as a bite sized treat on their own!”
• Anne (Silverdale): Movie – Gremlins – Pairing – Baja Tropical Lime from Blaze Soda – Reason – “This drink hits just right and puts me in a happy and uplifted mood!”
• Brita (Silverdale): Movie – The Polar Express – Pairing – Northern Lights from TrailBlazin’ – Reason – “I chose this because of the warm and cozy vibes it gives. Plus it made me think about how much it would enhance the experience of when the Aurora Borealis comes up in the movie”

Picking a classic strain that makes you feel like you may be able to tap into their thought process throughout the movie is even better”
• Spencer (Both stores) – Movie – Elf – Pairing – White Widow CBG Cartridge from Skagit Organics – Reason – “It would be nice to have something to rip on throughout the movie! Especially during all of the over the top parts. The CBG may give you some munchies too. It may even make you want to eat a plate of spaghetti with syrup on it like Buddy!”
