Gorilla Cookies THCA by Falcanna, Cannabis Review by Patrick (Issue 6)

As the poetic genius Fred Durst of the legendary Limp Bizkit said, “You can take those cookies and stick them in your bowl”! Or something along those lines. Anyway, hello and welcome back to my blog!

Today we’ll be taking a look at Falcanna’s THCA isolate Gorilla Cookies, and the different ways you can use this super potent form THC!

THCA explanation:

THCA or the scientific term tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a non-psychoactive acid that is formed on the cannabis plant as the bud forms. During the decarbonization process crystals will begin to form and some of these crystals can hold upwards of 90% THC from the plant! THCA has been recommended for those who experience a lot of intense medical problems such as severe nausea, nerve pain, and some forms of cancer.

The recreational side of THCA is also great considering it’s consistency (which I will break down further on) and ease of dabbing and adding to a bowl of your favorite flower!

So let’s dig into this together and check out Gorilla  Cookies from Falcanna.

Falcanna backstory:

Falcanna started back around when the medical cannabis scene really opened up. The couple who owns the farm are named Justin and Bethany and both met each other through falconry. The couple helps stick to a goal of theirs to rehabilitate raptor hunters while also growing some of Washington’s best cannabis that gets turned into vapes, dabs, isolates and more! Who says you can’t get high off your own supply? This couple loves to partake in their own product which helps set the high standard of quality that they expect met for their products. With DOH certified products, a clean green growing facility and biodegradable bags, is it any surprise why Washingtonians all over the state go to Falcanna for clean quality product? If you haven’t checked out any of their products make sure to do so!

Gorilla Cookies:

Gorilla Cookies is a sativa hybrid strain that is on the more mellow side of sativa’s. This is a great strain to have in the afternoon post work or drive home, a nice little wake and bake, or right before dinner in case you want some munchies. This is a quality hybrid strain in general.

  • Packaging: One of the things I really like about Falcanna any time I have them is the detailed packaging they use. Gorilla Cookies has a picture of a gorilla on the front chowing down on a huge stack of pot leaf stamped cookies looking as happy as can be. That picture represents everything this strain makes me want to feel and more. On the back of the packaging it explains the percentage of the ratio of sativa vs indica. This is extremely helpful for those who are seeking out a precise ratio for what they know works best for them.
  • Texture: The texture of the isolate is smooth, but still has little bumps in it from the crystals every once and a while. If you’re trying to dab this, depending on your dab tool style or dab rig, it may be a little difficult. But once you get down how to get it on there, you’ll be loving it. One of my suggestions that I do with all of my dabs, concentrates, isolates and everything of that nature is put it in the refrigerator. It keeps the consistency better, makes everything taste better than it would be just sitting out.
  • Smell:  The smell of the isolate is stronger and has a more sweet aroma to it. I love the smell of the flower, but comparing it to the isolate fells night and day different.
  • Taste:   The taste of the isolate is sweet pine and wood. The woodiness really pulls through more on the inhale than the sweet pine does, but that woodiness is what helps keep you planted to your seat.
  • High:  The high that I got from this was fantastic! It gave me a boost of euphoria while also keeping me grounded and my body relaxed. After about 4-5 minutes the secondary high of an almost haze like feel came through, and my eyes started to squint, I became a little hungry and while watching TV things became more entertaining than they were before.

So I decided to step it up a notch and top a bowl of GG4 off with this isolate. All I can say is… wow. Three deep hits and I was toasted! I was still able to taste the isolate a bit, but the THCA really activated and by the end of the bowl I was couch locked, but I was still mentally aware of what I was doing. So no matter how you have this isolate, it does not mess around.

  • Overall: Gorilla Cookies THCA isolate by Falcanna is some of the best isolate out on the market today. If you’re able to find it out at your local shop, I can’t recommend picking some up and trying it for yourself. It is such a versatile product that over time I’m sure it will expand into even bigger things. You won’t be disappointed if you purchase one of these.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. It truly means the world to me, I love writing these and I hope you enjoy reading them.

As always, it’s a crazy world out there. Take care of yourself, look after one another, don’t forget about Dre, and enjoy your life.

Until next time,

Patrick
